Youth Service Institute: Make the Connections (October 7-9)

Youth Service Institute is coming back to Washington, DC, October 7-9!
2009 saw the service movement take center stage in the nation's capital. What better time to take advantage of the energy toward national service and service-learning? In October, Lead Agencies, National Partners, and others interested in the youth service movement will meet at the Hilton Crystal City at National Airport for training, to share stories, and to network with peers, building their capacity to develop effective programs and increase the number of community minded youth.

YSI: Make the Connections will assist organizations with:
* Engaging children and youth in programs
* Producing outcomes and sharing community impact through stories and social and online media
* Serving as advocates for the youth service movement
* Examining the range of programs, from service through service-learning
